Mellon Udrigle Video online

Finaly, about a year after writing this piece I am putting it online as a little video.

I wrote this piece in memory of my dog Bruce and the life I left behind in Scotland when I moved to the USA. Mellon Udrigle is a beach at the west coast of Scotland were we used to play.

The day I got the news of the passing of Bruce I was in LA writing for a TV show. It was one of the sadest days of my life and I still had to work 14 hours that day. Nevertheless I managed to take 10 min time out, pressed the record button and improvised on the piano. This piece is the result.

In the video I included some of my pictures from back in Scotland and some scenes from the orchestra session.

It was recorded by a 24 piece orchestra.
