The documentary THE GAME: Gambling Between Life and Death is an in-depth look at the refugee crisis at the Bosnian European border, dubbed “The Game” by the refugees themselves as they attempt to cross the border illegally.

The music takes inspiration from “the game”, merging electronic sounds with the human warmth of the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, and centers around the ethnic wind instrument performance by Chris Bleth (Duduk) and the yearning voice of Azam Ali.

Thank you to director Manuela Federl and the entire film and music team for shining a light on the plight of refugees.
