SPACE/TIME: New Immersive Music Project Recorded at Vienna Synchron Stage
SPACE/TIME, a long-form narrative music experience in Dolby Atmos has reached a major production milestone with live string recording completed at Vienna Synchron Stage.
Seven pieces, 42 minutes, 60 pages of score, 188 pages of parts.
The recording session elevated the string writing into the real world, adding human detail, movement, and emotional weight to music that had been created for 3D listening from the beginning. The session brought together conductor Gottfried Rabl, recording engineer Martin Weismayr, orchestrator Andrés Montero, Kim’s assistant Alexander Schwarz, and the Vienna Synchron musicians in one of Europe’s most established scoring stages capturing this room and performance in all its detail in 3D audio.
SPACE/TIME now moves into editing, immersive mixing, and visual development. Stay tuned.
